Meet Dr. Peterson

Dr. Malory Peterson grew up in the small town of St. Charles, MN where community has always been a cornerstone in her life. She could not be more excited to lay down roots in Northfield and serve this wonderful community at Professional Dental Group!

Dr. Peterson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Winona State University majoring in cell and molecular biology. She spent the following year working as a dental assistant with a general dentist in Pine Island, MN and with an oral surgeon in Rochester, MN all while applying to dental school. During that year she not only gained invaluable experience, but her love for serving others through dentistry deepened. She went on to attend Dental School at the University of Minnesota (row the boat, ski-u-mah, go gophs) earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Additionally, she was awarded the “Leadership & Service Award” and “The Ramesh Kuba Radiology Excellence Award” by her faculty. Throughout her education she has found joy in volunteering and organizing various charity events, something she hopes to continue in Northfield!

Dr. Peterson loves all aspects of dentistry. It is her mission to leave her patients with a smile that they are proud of. Making personal connections with her patients carries the same importance to her as providing excellent, individualized, and comfortable care. Her professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Academy for Sports Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and Spear study group.

Dr. Peterson lives in Northfield with her husband, Lucas and their puppy Nash. Outside of the office she enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, going on walks and enjoying the great outdoors. Dr. Peterson looks forward to meeting you and getting to know what brings you joy in life!
